Lux Project

Saskatchewan, Canada

10,025 ha

The Lux Project is an early-stage exploration property located approximately 80 km north of La Ronge, Saskatchewan. Covering three contiguous mineral claims and totaling 10,025 hectares, Lux lies within the south-central portion of the highly prospective Rottenstone Domain.

District-Scale Opportunity

Lux is situated directly adjacent to RAMP Metals’ Rottenstone SW project, where a recent grassroots discovery returned 73.55 g/t gold over 7.5 metres; an exciting development that has brought new attention to this historically underexplored region.

While the Rottenstone Domain was previously overlooked for gold exploration due to its high-grade metamorphic geology, recent results have demonstrated that this area holds significant untapped potential. Lux lies along a major northeast-southwest structural corridor that hosts both supracrustal and granitic rocks, known to be important for mineralization in the area.

Exploration Highlights

  • Untested Ground: No recorded mineral exploration at Lux has specifically targeted gold or silver.
  • Geochemical Anomalies: Government till and lake sediment sampling identified highly anomalous gold values on the property, including samples containing 43 and 52 ppm Au.
  • Strategic Location: The project lies on trend with a newly discovered high-grade gold system and near the past-producing Rottenstone Mine (historical production: 26,057 tonnes at 3.28% Ni, 1.83% Cu, and 9.63 g/t PGE+Au).

Next Steps

Huntsman is planning an aggressive exploration program to evaluate the gold and base metal potential of this underexplored area. The team will leverage its technical expertise and experience in similar geological environments to advance the project toward discovery.
