Huntsman Exploration Announces the Election of Jean-Felix Lepage to the Board of Directors, the Adoption of a New Long-Term Incentive Plan, and the Proposed Change of Company Name
Vancouver, British Columbia – September 9, 2025 – Huntsman Exploration Inc. (TSXV: HMAN) (the “Company” or “Huntsman”) held its Annual General Meeting today (the “AGM”), at which directors were elected. The Company is therefore pleased to announce the election of Jean-Felix Lepage as a director of the Company.
Mr. Lepage obtained his Bachelor of Mining Engineering from Université Laval and holds a college technical degree in mineral processing from CEGEP de Thetford. He has over 15 years of experience in mining and managing operations, projects, and development activities. Mr. Lepage most recently worked at Newmont Corporation where he held several different operational roles. Mr. Lepage began his career as a metallurgist and later moved on to be a mine superintendent, where he managed the underground mining operations at Newmont Eleonore Mine. He was more recently the Vice-President Projects at O3 Mining, where he led the Marban Project though the study and development process.
Carl Ginn, Nathan Tribble and Matthew Herbert were also elected as directors at the AGM.
At the AGM, shareholders approved and adopted a long-term incentive plan (the “LTIP”). The LTIP is a combined “rolling” and “fixed” Security Based Compensation Plan (as that term is defined in TSX Venture Exchange Policy 4.4) pursuant to which: (i) the aggregate number of common shares reserved for issuance pursuant to stock options granted thereunder may not exceed, at the time of grant, in aggregate 10% of the Company’s issued and outstanding common shares, and (ii) the aggregate number of common shares reserved for issuance pursuant to all other equity incentive awards granted under the LTIP, which include performance share units, restricted share units and deferred share units. cannot exceed 3,856,140 common shares.
The LTIP is subject to the final acceptance of the TSX Venture Exchange.
Also at the AGM, shareholders approved the change of name of the Company to Lux Metals Corp. The name change is subject to the acceptance of the TSX Venture Exchange.
